Chapter 4 | Operations—Running a Safe, Secure, and Efficient Airport

Operations is a daily, ongoing element of small airport management to provide a safe and efficient airport for the users. Based on the complexity of the airport, there are multiple operational responsibilities related to providing safe airport facilities. Some of the specialized items will not be applicable to all small airports, such as winter operations or joint use, but are included for those small airports to which they are applicable and to provide background information for other small airport managers.
