4.17 Customs Service
At small airports with frequent international operations, typically run by corporate operators, the airport may desire to provide U.S. customs services to make the airport more attractive to aircraft operators and enhance the level of customer service. There are two types of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) services: port of entry and user-fee airports. The most frequently available CBP service at small airports is user-fee based.
