Energy Use – Select a Sample Airport

Energy load profile data has been gathered from three candidate airports: a Small Hub airport, a Medium Hub airport and a Large Hub airport. Select the sample airport energy load profile that most closely matches your airport’s energy use. To verify the classification and hub type of your airport, please refer to the Federal Aviation Administration National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems. Sample airport data is not available for Nonhub Primary, Nonprimary Commercial Service, Reliever, or General Aviation airports. The Small Hub airport option would most closely match these types of airport sizes. A Small Hub airport with peak daily consumption of 20 MWh and peak hourly load of 1 MW, from 400,000 to 800,000 annual enplanements, and a cold climate.
A Medium Hub airport with peak daily consumption of 150 MWh and peak hourly load of 7 MW, from 4 to 10 million annual enplanements, and a marine climate.
A Large Hub airport with peak daily consumption of 1 GWh and peak hourly load of 45 MW, more than 20 million annual enplanements, and a marine climate. Return Home Previous Page Continue
