In 2019, two sections were updated and published as legal research digests. NCHRP LRD 76: Update of Selected Studies in Transportation Law, Volume 8, Section 3: Indian Transportation Law examines and updates legal issues arising out of federal, state, and local transportation agencies’ relations with Indian tribes. NCHRP LRD 76: Update of Selected Studies in Transportation Law, Volume 8, Section 1: Civil Rights and Transportation Agencies analyze federal laws and regulations as they affect transportation agencies in their business practices, construction of facilities, hiring and service provided to the public.
