2018Abstract
ACRP Research Report 182: Guidance for Planning, Design, and Operations of Airport Communications Centers helps airports of all sizes determine which type of airport communications center best meets their operational needs. Various functions include dispatch of police, emergency response, maintenance requests, and monitoring of airport systems. In some cases, individual departments have “siloed” these functions into separate call centers. Myriad factors need to be addressed in considering the best approach to providing necessary airport services for employees and for the public.
