Abstract

This report summarizes the findings of the ACRP Project 03-12, "Guidelines for Preparing Peak Period and Operational Profiles" effort. The study involved a detailed analysis of the factors affecting peak period activity levels and the distribution of airport passengers and operations within a daily operational profile. The ultimate results of these analyses are the Guidebook and associated software (Toolbox) (published as ACRP Report 82: Preparing Peak Period and Operational Profiles—Guidebook and its accompanying CD-ROM).
