The Sustainable Airport Manual (SAM) includes measures and metrics to evaluate compliance, standards and specifications, project evaluation checklists, and a Green Airplane Rating System that gauges each project’s ability to meet or exceed contractual obligations to incorporate sustainable initiatives. This manual is a living document, one that continues to grow and evolve, that includes emerging technologies, state-of-the-art design and thought-provoking principles along with lessons learned from 15 years of implementation experience.
