Abstract: This update to the DOT Standard Specifications for Construction of General Aviation Airports (SSCGAA) was produced by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Aviation Office (AO) to provide general aviation airports in Florida with standardized specifications for airfield construction projects. It provides the materials, composition, construction methods, quality control, and acceptance requirements to be used by the engineers, contractors, consultants, agencies, and airport personnel on airfield projects at non-primary Florida airports serving aircraft less than 60,000 pounds.
