To support transition and growth, administrative rules will need to be updated. Specifically, new legislation may require new rulemaking, or it may require changes to existing rules. Further, existing rules may need or benefit from refinement or updates to best support program growth. <\/p> \n\n

Empowered agencies should follow the standard rulemaking process, whether formal or informal. Agencies are informed by lessons learned from the existing program, with the understanding that the program is growing. Agencies update administrative rules to prepare for vehicles to be added each year, hire new staff, update systems, add commercial account managers, refine customer service, and update operational policies. \n <\/p>\n <\/div>\n
