{"id":306,"date":"2023-07-28T00:10:53","date_gmt":"2023-07-28T00:10:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/webresources-uat.com\/bts19\/?page_id=306"},"modified":"2023-07-28T00:10:53","modified_gmt":"2023-07-28T00:10:53","slug":"tennessee","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/crp.trb.org\/btscrpwebresource2\/mitigation-tools\/policy-level\/interactive-map\/tennessee\/","title":{"rendered":"Tennessee"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color\" style=\"color:#9d2f00\"><strong>Motorcycle:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cevery motor vehicle that has a seat or saddle for the use of the rider and designed to travel on not more than three (3) wheels in contact with the ground, including an autocycle and does not include a tractor or motorized bicycle.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color\" style=\"color:#9d2f00\"><strong>Motor-Driven Cycle:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cevery motorcycle, including every motor scooter, with a motor that produces no more than five (5) brake horsepower, or with a motor with a cylinder capacity not exceeding one hundred twenty-five cubic centimeters (125cc). \u2018Motor-driven cycle\u2019 does not include an electric scooter or personal delivery device.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color\" style=\"color:#9d2f00\"><strong>Motorized Bicycle:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201ca vehicle with two (2) or three (3) wheels, an automatic transmission, and a motor with a cylinder capacity not exceeding fifty cubic centimeters (50cc) which produces no more than two (2) brake horsepower and is<br>capable of propelling the vehicle at a maximum design speed of no more than thirty miles per hour (30 mph) on level ground. The operator of a motorized bicycle must be in possession of a valid operator&#8217;s or chauffeur&#8217;s license, and shall be subject to all applicable and practical rules of the road.
