As such, laws and mandates for how to be safe on the roads while operating these vehicles are important, and that is why we created this resource.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>This WebResource was developed to provide moped\/scooter safety information and resources for government agencies, private sector organizations, and the general public. All intervention tools are empirically based and were designed in the context of the social-ecological model (SEM), which emphasizes the importance of multilevel strategies (individual, interpersonal, community, and policy) to promote behavior change.
