Those who complete the training earn the Airport Certified Employee (ACE)&mdash;Airfield Lighting Maintenance designation. More information can be found <a href=\"https:\/\/aaae.org\/AAAEMember2020\/AAAEMember2020\/Training-and-Certification-\/ACE_Programs.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p><p>It is highly recommended that each airport check with their electrical equipment manufacturer or on-call aviation engineers involved in lighting projects, as some firms will offer training services to customer airports.<\/p><p>For example, ADB Safegate offers <a href=\"https:\/\/www.airsidesolutionsinc.com\/copy-of-training\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">in-person field maintenance seminars<\/a> at airports consisting of two days of hands-on classroom training. Further ADB Safegate resources for in-person and online delivery are available <a href=\"https:\/\/adbsafegate.com\/services\/training-academy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>. Flash Technology also offers <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flashtechnology.com\/airport-training\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">in-person courses<\/a> to airports for up to 15 attendees. OCEM Airfield Technology offers similar <a href=\"https:\/\/ocem.com\/en\/training\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">classroom training<\/a>. Honeywell has <a href=\"https:\/\/buildings.honeywell.com\/us\/en\/lp\/airport-training2023-registration\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">training available&nbsp;upon request<\/a>. While the examples listed here are far from exhaustive, this shows there are many airfield lighting component manufacturers offering in-person training opportunities. Eaton&rsquo;s Crouse-Hinds series of products offers training resources including manufacturer-provided online format <a href=\"https:\/\/crp.trb.org\/acrpwebresource20\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/40\/2024\/09\/Introduction-to-Airfield-Lighting-Training.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Training for Airfield Lighting<\/a> discussing many topics. The manufacturer S4GA offers a range of online courses on various airfield electrical topics, <a href=\"https:\/\/solutions4ga.com\/product\/solar-runway-lighting-overview\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">including a 10-module online runway lighting course<\/a>.<\/p><p>This <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=v18p39sRGKw\">video<\/a> is from the electrical parts original equipment manufacturer (OEM) OneMonroe Integro line of products. The video is an example of OEM-prepared training materials which may be publicly available or available on request from the electrical parts supplier used by an
